MOSAIC

A trip to New York uncovered an unexplored avenue of Face art. Somewhere between rushing commuters, screeching rails, and decades of accumulated history, I found myself staring at the city’s subway mosaics and thinking a simple thought: these were made for The Face.

MidJourney is absolutely lousy with mosaic-inspired styles, and it does not disappoint. Tile by tile, station by station, The Face emerges from ceramic fragments, colored stone, and imagined public works projects.

A few of these mosaics are actually based on real locations. Others are inventions slipped quietly into the collection like an extra stop on a familiar line.

Keep your eyes open. You may recognize a station as it passes by.
