NEWYORKER

This collection wanders into the territory of The New Yorker’s cartoon section. After picking up a copy and musing about the legendary “Christ, What an Asshole” meme, I found myself asking the only reasonable question: can The Face find a place in The New Yorker?

The New Yorker has long been a stalwart of sharp writing, cultural commentary, and cartoons worth stopping to read. Its drawings can be deceptively simple while carrying enormous wit, which makes the form unusually compatible with The Face.

Here, The Face steps onto that hallowed page space armed with dry humor, absurdity, and the sort of understated punchline that earns a quiet laugh several seconds after you have already turned the page.
