What began as an idea for a single visual sculpture became something stranger: a cabinet of three-dimensional curiosities.
Each object began as a Face-related image and was transformed into a 3D model using a Hugging Face space. Some emerge remarkably true to their original intent. Others decidedly do not. That gap between what the image depicts and what the machine believes it depicts is perhaps the most interesting part.
Some objects are situational. Others have been hanging around The Face for years, finally gaining a little depth.
This was supposed to be a sculpture.
So here we are.
