Powder the lights and cue the glamour. This fabulously peculiar experiment began with traditional makeup charts and the expectation that I might simply create makeup resembling The Face. What emerged was much more entertaining.
Inspired in part by Wooly Willy, the interface lets you paint makeup directly onto the image and discover what happens. Swipe, smudge, embellish, and improvise. A larger palette may arrive someday, but for now the restraint is part of the charm: simple tools, elegant presentation, and extremely strong hints of whimsy.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Here, the beholder also gets the brush.
